I've been looking for a dachshund for ages. I've found alot but they're very pricey. I was wondering if anyone knows a site in Australia were you can adopt a dachshund cheaply?

You get what you pay for - cheap dogs are often from puppy mills or inexperienced breeders and can cost lots later in their lives........
try rescue or contact a breeder - they may do you a deal if you ae a great prospective owner - they may also have young adult dogs to place, due to not being 'perfect' to show.
